ODI introduces its innovative malware prevention technology as-a-service in the cloud for independent software vendors (ISVs) and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs)

Leveraging its patented TrueCDR™ (Content Disarm and Reconstruction) technology for removing all malicious code from a wide range of file types to serve as an embedded service for file-processing web services and applications

With the growing demand for malware prevention solutions, ODI introduces an advanced cloud-based anti-malware technology, ODIX CDR as-a-service (CDRaaS), for its business partners including ISVs and MSPs. The ODIX CDR as-a-service joins ODI’s anti-malware tools suite based on the Content Disarm and Reconstruction (CDR) technology for preventive malware penetration in companies and enterprises of all sizes.

The new ODIX CDR as-a-service is a cloud-based service enabling any app developer, web or mobile, to connect with the API and seamlessly add file sanitization into processes requiring file upload, download, or transfer from an endpoint to the server.

The ODIX CDR as-a-service is based on ODI’s TrueCDR™ technology, introducing a new paradigm in securing from file-based malware attacks. Unlike legacy anti-malware technologies that are effective in known malware protection, ODI’s solutions prevent the penetration of malicious files with unknown as well as known malware.

Furthermore, legacy file-based protection solutions often encumber the processing of files in transit, resulting in delays and impacting user experience. ODI TrueCDR™ technology offers real-time file sanitization, ensuring that user experience is not affected.

“We are excited to share our ODIX TrueCDR™ technology with potential software partners that are looking for the best protection solution for file-based malware attacks,” says Dr. Oren Eytan, ODI CEO, adding, “Having an efficient API file sanitization process in the cloud, ensuring that all files in transit will be malware-free from known and unknown attacks, is a game-changer for developers who are worried about security.”

ODI invites software vendors, MSPs, and MSSPs to try the new ODIX CDR as-a-service API.
