Ferrara – 10 November 2021 – ICOS, value added distributor of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions, announces it has signed a distribution agreement with odix, leading provider of Content Disarm and Reconstruction software designed to prevent malware-based cyber-attacks. Territories covered by the agreement include Italy and the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Swiss).
odix’s patented technology named True Content Disarm and Reconstruction (True CDR ™) eliminates malicious code from the most used file types by adopting an innovative approach. Contrary to common practices based on the detection of malicious code, odix aims at reconstructing malware-free copies of infected files through specific algorithms dedicated to each file type. By doing so, it provides customers with an end-to-end solution against known and unknown attacks, including viruses, ransomware, APT and Zero-day.
Thanks to this agreement, ICOS adds an important piece to a cybersecurity portfolio that is designed to respond to the most current and sophisticated cyber threats.
