Rosh Ha’ayin, January 17th, 2018 – ODI Ltd., a leading cybersecurity company specializing in data security solutions based on innovative CDR (Content Disarm & Reconstruction) anti malware technology, announced today that it had been granted an additional US patent. The company’s patented active anti malware technology offers first-of-its-kind ironclad protection from known and unknown threats entering corporate networks via incoming files.
ODI already holds two approved patents in the US, protecting the company’s anti malware algorithm. This patent is the 3rd, and one additional US patent are still pending.

Sophisticated targeted attacks as well as Distributed Malware Attacks (DMA) are frequently carried by innocent files entering the organization through email, removable media, or other vectors. While simpler threats can be neutralized by traditional solutions, today’s advanced malware cannot. Existing solutions identify only known malware and attack patterns – new threat patterns can pass through unimpeded. ODI’s patented ODIX technology assumes every file is suspicious, and leverages advanced algorithms to check every single file entering the organization via any vector – ensuring that organizational networks remain malware-free and safe.

The ODIX process is done on the fly, does not affect business continuity and provides 360 protection. Field-proven, ODIX is already in commercial use by enterprise and SMB customers worldwide.

“The grant of this 3rd patent, together with the previous patents, provides further recognition of ODI’s leadership in the active anti malware field,” reports Mr. Omri Eytan, CTO of ODI. “Our cutting-edge technology is a game changer by the way it enhances the method organizations protect themselves from today’s advanced cyber-threats” concludes Mr. Eytan.
